I did a hundred sickles jigheads the other day and had one bad hook.

"poppop", what size & color finish was that? I'd like to get some low reject batches.

I just poured 775 1/24 oz with the #4 bronze sickle and had 11 rejects. 9 of those I rebent into the proper shape so I only lost two. Those two were really messed up and no amount of bending would have helped them. I did notice alot of variation in the barbs of the hooks: some had deep barbs others barely had barbs at all. I didn't care much for that but I guess I'll suffer through it. They just work too well for me to not use the things...very sharp and I don't seem to loose many fish when I use them...I do not dock shoot using them because when I do I loose alot of jigs on crossmembers under the docks. If you touch a crossmember with a sickle hook its gonna hang up about 99 times out of 100. Just my penny's worth..........brim

I go through each batch and disguard the bad ones. Still really like the sickles, but am buying more from VMC than from Mitsuo.

When I fish, I tend to grab a Gamakatsu of the same size over a Mitzuo.
