Soon as we get ice here in Northern Indiana I am going to try these craft bead jigs that I put together to resemble a grub body. They are 1/64th oz. with a #8 hook and some silicone tail!!

I like um .....think I'll have to try some of these too....I am going to HAVE to win the lottery........or strike oil in my front yard...or invent something that replaces velcro...or.....or stop spending so much on jig making stuff..........gotta be another way

Can you explain the tails?
Looks like spinner bait skirt strands glued w/ a bit of silicon....

There's nothing like feeling that THUMP...FISH ON
Materials for bead jigs!
1.Use 1/64th head #8 hook or 1/32th #6 hook.Any bigger and beads will not fit over hook barb.
2.Put on a bed of thread just like tying regular jig.
3.Put small amount of cement on thread and slide beads on.
4.Put jig head back in vise and tie on silicone skirting with thread and add small amount of glue to tied silicone and let dry.
5.Add fabric paint and shape with toothpick to desired look.
6.Let dry overnight and brush fabric paint and beads with Hard-as-Nails.
