    8fishermen,
these were made for casting or pitching around banks with structure. I fish canals that are around 6' to 7' deep with blowdowns and grass beds all along the shoreline. I will use these by pitching into the shallows and slowly rolling them away from the bank and down the drop-offs which are 2 to 3 feet off of the banks. Trolling or cranking would probably need a larger blade for it to spin properly. I will try and do a test today if I get off before sundown. Somebody needs to tell the sun to stay up later.

Those look great Gene! Look like they would be perfect for long line trolling. The names are the best part. :D

Thanks FM, I just did a quick test of the action in the bayou on the way back to work and the one I used performed well. I think I hit on a winner. Hopefully I'll be able to prove them out this weekend.

EDIT: Adding a picture of the lot of them. The wires don't looks so heavy as such.

About the only way to get them smaller is to make them yourself!!! Which is alot of fun, I have several different wire formers a hand one and the one from Janns (their brand). Now besides having more jigs and supplies to make more than I'll probably ever need I have the same amount of spinners and supplies to make just as many more.

I was hoping to give them a test today but it didn't work out. My daughter and I went fishing and the plans were to launch the boat and hit the salt water first and after probably not doing well we would move into the fresh water marsh to give them a try. Well the salt water bite got so good we gave up on the idea of fresh water fishing. We had a.blast. I'll post results on the saltwater forum.

I have had some good luck with the spinners attached. They do catch bass pretty good too. This isn't a bad thing on an ultrlite rod :D
