    Default First Couple Jigs

I posted pics on phone pics section. Man this is addicting. Hopefully the pic came out ok. Now if the rain will just come early enough this week might be able to sneek out after work with the Mrs.'s and try them.

Man that green one with the shiny tail looks awesome to me. I think that one is my favorite, but you have some really nice looking ones in there. Good luck to you and the missus when ya'll are out there pullin' up the slabs with your OWN home-made jigs!!!! That is really cool. I just got some tying stuff myself and I am really hopeful that I will get some tied up and get to give them a try here in the FL panhandle...

Congrats! I don't even know where the phone section is, but I am sure you are enjoying tying!

Have yourself a ball. That is the fun part when you catch them on something you made. Good job.

Thanks Dave that green one was the 2nd one I tied and am gonna make some bigger ones like it as we are going up to Pt. St. Joe for the week of the 4th and would love to get some flounder on them. Only thing I can tell you is get ready to have a blast tying them and a really big mess, but it is easy to pick up. I have a 12x12 room out in my shed that was supposed to be for the kids but I think they will be getting evicted, even though they never use it but maybe twice a year.
Skip I meant the post pics by phone section.

I've found some jigs just don't do good with powder paint, PONY HEADS man what a pain it is to figure ways to cover the crane swivel so no powder paint gets in so I just hand paint them now and put a good coat of epoxy on them.

Good luck over at Port St. Joe. That is one really nice laid back area of the world there!!! Also, good luck on your eviction!!! I am setting up a tying table that I can place on top of my desk in my office at the house as that is the only place that I am going to be allowed to have it. Anyway, have a good one, I hope to follow your lead soon and post a few pics of my own.
