    Default Perch jig

Anyone come across a color combo that the bluegills or shellcrackers go nutts over?

    Default I agree

I usually go for black or dark green jigs for bluegills and brighter colors, white, chart , yel/grn/red. for crappie. smaller is better espically for gills to me and tipping with red worms works really well also.

Chartreuse and Pink or Chartreuse and black has worked nicely this year for me.

4 chartruese legs on back of jig tied from rubber legs, black pearl chenille and then two legs on each side up by the head. Awesome jig that works everytime.
If the water is a little dingy pink and black are a good combo.

I do not have any pics right now, but I use a 1/32 oz jig with a black chenille body, and then put 4 strands of silver flashabou tied in at the eye, and extend backk to just past the hook point.

    I'll post a pic tonight

I seem to have decent luck with solid black or something dark also.
