    Question Chrome Jig Heads

Anyone ever heard of this? I'm not talking shiny silver paint, or just clearcoating a jig head to give it some sheen-real chrome.

    Opinions?

    kinda hard to chrome LEAD
i've seen guys pour ZINC jig heads then chrome them
but you have to get zinc so hot to melt it in the first place
and then the price of zinc balls has gone sky high,,,,
thats what i heard nothing to back that up ,just hearsay

I don't know the specifics of what you can and can't traditionally chrome, which is why I asked.

However, there is a new way of chroming that is hitting the streets and is used by custom car painters-it's quite expensive, but it allows the opportunity to chrome pretty much anything-car parts, keepsakes (like an old pair of baseball shoes or a glove), and perhaps jigs.

Theres a powder coating that looks just like chrome. And should work.
Also what your talking about I think would work. A clear coat the head, Then just let it shine.
