    Default Wedge Tail Fox jigs

Been busy with these since they have been producing down on the river the first few trips there. Made up some 1/16 and 3/32 and a few 1/20 as well. Name: IMG_4917.jpg

Some pics from my last trip to the river. Had a 1/16 on one rod and a 3/32 on the other. Wish I had brought a couple extra floats with me because a big grass carp grabbed the 1/16 with my only float and after a long battle dove into the downed tree and broke me off. Thought about going back to the truck for more but made do. Lost another jig to a big Buffalo a little later and had another that I didn't see break me off as well. Did manage six crappie, five bass and a white bass all caught on the wedge tail fox jigs. These baits look alive in the water, fish seem to think so. 4# line wasn't enough for the big fish with the snag so close by.

We are dodging the rain here. Predicted several inches last week but only got about an inch. Hope it brought the river up a little bit at least. Going to try again tomorrow.
