You need some reptile rubber. It's what Sonny used on a lot of his jigs. I could mail you some to try.

I am loving this stuff. So much easier to tye with, and can understand now, how those huge shell crackers find them at some of the depths they're caught at. Thank you again JIM. I'LL BE GETTING some of the stuff for sure...
