    Nothing fancy. Trying build up my jig boxes before crappie season gets here.

    And my first crappie of the year. Little fella but sure is pretty. Caught on 1/80 Kip-Tail jig and float.

    Those look good. Not only will those hunt, but they'll also put groceries on the table too.

    Very nice hand ties. It's easier to clean out the eyes while head is still warm. I use my half hitch tool but a bigger size sewing needle works too. Paint head, stick a needle through eye and set it aside to cool. While it's cooling paint another, repeat. I've tried heat shrink tubing but like needle method better since I paint heads with multiple colors and tubing gets in the way.
