Peak gets my vote also but a less expensive one might be a good choice until you decide how much you want to get into tying.

Peak is a good vice as is the Renzetti Traveler 2000 model. Both offer either the table clamp or pedistal mount with no difference in price for the different mounts. I truely love my Renzetti.

Seems like when I see this questioned ask on crappie groups they mostly reply Peak. When I see it asked other fly tying groups I see Renzetti mostly replied.

I was in Tennessee years ago at a fly shop and they had several Renzettis on display but at the time didn’t do much tying or I might’ve bought one. I really liked them. Fast forward to now and I do mostly tie so I stopped at Bass Pro to look at a Peak and had every intention of buying it. I ended up walking away. Just something about it didn’t sell me.

if you’re looking for something a little cheaper the Nirvana V2 gets my vote. Can get 10% off if you sign up for email list and free shipping bringing it to under $130.

Stay away from the Regal Revolution...I had one and didn't like it at all. Not a true center rotation. It will rotate but you cant make the shank of a hook truly center. That's important to me because I tie a lot of hair jigs and spin a thread ball on the shank to hold the hair.
