I figured chartreuse would be one of the top choices.

I've always matched the color of the jig to the color of the plastic bait being used. Casting/pouring the 1/64oz to 1/32oz dart headed jigs with #8 hooks or 1/64oz, 1/32oz, 1/8oz round headed jigs with #8 to #4 hooks.

The 2 I use the most are the black and gold trout magnets with either a gold or a black dart jig head. They are excellent for crappie and bluegill.
    Shad Dart Jig - Sz: 1/64, 1/32 - Hk: 570 or 575 - Collar: None

A pink round jig and a pearl and pink tube. The pearl & pink tube I use to catch yellow perch.
    Round Head Jig - Sz: 1/16, 1/8 - Hk: 570 or 575 - Collar: Tapered Barb

More often then not I run/use those 2 jig setups in tandem about 18" to 24" apart with the trout magnet at the end.

When targeting/fishing for bluegill and crappie I use 2 trout magnets and dart headed jigs on the same line.

I tie a lot of round heads. But I fish a pony head mostly. Hard to beat a roadrunner with a chartreuse kipp tail.
