I can totally feel the pain. After Clintons debacle right after he was elected (base closings, and forced force reduction), My 1st wife and I moved to Va. as her parents were well into their 70's. We stayed with them on Skimino Rd till we bought a house over in Glouster. Then My mom got Brain cancer, (dad was at Camp Lejune and so my whole family were all in that debacle), so I had to go out to California for a bit. Wound up divorced so I wound up in the cab of an 18-wheeler touring the USA in a professional manor. Wound up in Chesapeake for about 10 yrs. dragging them steel boxes all over. At any rate, here I am in Missouri. Got everything here I had there, except the salt water fishing. Hoping for a decent settlement for Legune...Mom=Brain Cancer, Dad=Liver Cancer/ Both lost the battle, and I had Kidney cancer. Should be enough to allow a bit of travel. Yep, still in the veins...Going to get a camper of sorts and travel and fish places I've only heard of and try to meet the members I've only conversed with on here...and Fish.
Proud to have served with and supported the Units I was in: 1st IDF, 9th INF, 558th USAAG (Greece), 7th Transportation Brigade, 6th MEDSOM (Korea), III Corp, 8th IDF, 3rd Armor Div.
