Now some of those natural looking bait will surely catch ‘em. Nice baits junglejimsjigs
In the past I've always poured 1/24 ballheads on #4 or #6 jig hooks. Wanting something small I poured these 1/24 with #8 and #10 sickle hooks from Matzuo. The colder it gets the smaller size baits get eaten better than larger baits and these compact baits should get casting distance and cast better on those cold, windy days. Finished jigs are still in the 1" range.

I just ordered some 1/32 with #8 hooks from ChuckandDeb for the very same reason. Small baits rule during the summer and winter months and it's hard to find them with in that size with small hooks.
Thanks everyone. I use my 1/48 chubs all the time and the 1/24 weigh twice as much so should get more distance and baits should stay deeper in the strike zone. Duck feather jigs take about three minutes to tie and the bunny jigs with flash in under two minutes so it doesn't take me long to fill up a box. Just need to find a box before I misplace them.
Those are sweet! Everyone knows I like the little baits. They catch some big fish too.

Sweet Jigs!
