    Default split ring pliers?


    Any recommendations on the BEST split ring pliers for small rings. I did order a set of Mustad 5". I hope they are ok, I have no issue paying up for good tools. thanks guys

    I have the pair that CrappieBuckeye showed. They are OK. The small rings are still a nuisance.

    I found some swivels that have an open loop. I just use those and skip the rings.

    “Minfishing Open Loop”

    Spins up blades very nicely, not for holding a fish though. Just for holding the blades onto the lure. Quick, easy and no hassles.
    Maybe they will bite this one……

    I like the Gamakatsu P004 Micro Split Ring Pliers .
    I bought a couple before I found some that would work on small split rings . Most are too big .

    I think mine came from Bass Pro and weren’t too expensive. Green handles if that matters. Small rings are a big pain.,

    Xuron small. No others come close! I use them from #00 to #5 rings.
