    They look great and will catch for sure. Curious about how they look in the water and how they move. Sure looks like a shad.

    Jim,
    This material moves some in the water but holds the shape well. Most movement is at the end of the tail and looks good when retrieving like a swimbait.
    They have some quiver if vertical jigging and the fibers separate slightly and produce a gentle waving action .
    These jigs I've tied are catching fish but a thinner and narrower profile might be even better.
    They are for sure a good match for small shad.
