    I actually like the color of the second one better.
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

    Look good. I too like the color of the second better. Personally I prefer shorter tails. Those will work and should catch many.

    You can do that and it will work but best to leave the natural ends to the feather/hair and trim the other end. Leaves a more natural looking jig with better movement.

    Let the fish trim it to their preferred length. I really like the second ones color but just me but I would use a chartreuse or a grey head. Probably chartreuse being I know what lake we fish!! ��
