    Default UV light source

So what UV light source do you use?

    Thanks in advance,

These jigs were Solarez Diamond. Don’t use regular Solarez as it’s horrible. The Diamond is great though.

Mostly I paint on the resin with a model brush about 8 at a time. I then zap them with a 50 watt UV light I got off Amazon. Only takes 8-10 seconds. Then I continue to paint clear coat on jigs until done. Once I compete however many jigs I place in a wooden jig clamp and then set out in the sun for about an hour or so. Winter time when no sun I just hang them under the lamp.

Darn I just bought some Solarez not to long ago. What did you not like about it?

It took forever to cure even out in the sun. Couldn’t ever cure it all the way even under UV light. If not cured all the way it remains tacky. Also was brittle. Solarez Diamond on the other hand isn’t.

I bought the Solarez torch with mine and the times I've used it seemed to dry the regular Solarez fine I thought. I haven't used it very much yet. Thanks for the tip on the diamond, I will be switching and buying some of the Solarez Diamond.
