    All right here it is guys. Very first tie. I need all the suggestions y’all are willing to give. This is the first attempt to putting all the knowledge I have read on here to use. Thanks in advance.

    Great start. The best advice I could pass on is what I got here: work on consistency. Tail length and the transition from tail to body are two areas where consistency real shows up.

    To be totally honest, there is nothing wrong with those ties. You even got the tail length right which is what most newbies struggle with. Those jigs will catch any crappie in any state.

    It is. Wish the weather would have allowed me to try them out. I hope to be on the water tomorrow. Pictures to follow if the fish cooperate.
