These work great on a flyrod with a small indicator but rarely use the fly rod since my shoulder surgeries a couple years back. Mostly use ultralight spinning tackle, 2# mono since anything larger is hard to get through the hook eye for me since I'm stubborn and won't use glasses while fishing, only sunglasses.

You can use both Jim. If you’ve seen a picture of me with shades on, they have readers in them. I’m on pair number 16 or so. Walmart fishing department in a hard case. Only ones I’ve seen in a hard case and they come in different diopters to fit your needs. I couldn’t tie knots without em. Work good driving too. About $20.
