what material has the best ACTION for crappie jig tails?

I hear "blood quill marabou" mentioned a lot on Youtube, but I thought that I would ask the experts.

Best action is marabou! One reason if you read the other materials like the fake stuff, they always say a lot like marabou! It looks like it swimming, but to get it at its best the barbules have to be taken off the stem and tied in as the tail with no stem! I would guess maybe 5 % of my marabou ties have a stem in them and I only do that on the very thinnest stems. I have Ziploc’s full of the tips of marabou that I have not used!
