Great job Jim. Take him early & often.
Well maybe. His name is Jim like his dad and grandpa and even though he just turned 1 he is already taking an interest in fishing, I started when I was 2. Every time we babysit him he has to play with the rods and reels and I think he already has a favorite. An older model Shimano Stradic with the wooden knob that he loves to spin. Got to start them early.

I see many fishing trips and smiles in both of your futures. He will learn from one of the best. Enjoy these times.

Only wish we were a little closer in age, 64 years difference between him and I. Have another grandson four months older and he plays with them too. Sometimes we watch both at the same time and both are playing with them at the same time. The two of them together are a handful. They wear me and grandma out.

I’m sure we’re all patiently waiting for the day when grandpa gets them on a vise too. My queen and I know why children are given to the young. One, they deserve them and two, we can’t keep up with them for long. Congrats there proud grandpa.
