    Default First ties

First attempt at tying my own jigs. Fairly satisfied, but I thought the whip stitch was going to get the best of meFirst tiesAttachment 449016Name: 20230207_191909.jpg

Good job, practice makes perfection come to life. I had an old guy in the 60's teach me to tie 12 alike, over and over and when I could make 12 alike I was there. Wax on and Wax off grasshopper. Good looking jig sir.

Keep tying. Try measuring your materials so you can get the consistency Grumpy is talking about. Whip finisher had me whipped until I watched a few videos. I find it easy now. Have fun.
