    Default Crappie fly

Here's some recent attempts at crappie flies. The idea is to have a rather large body but little weight. They weigh in between 01 and 04 on a number one streamer hook.

They look like they should work for you.

If you would like I have a link to a fly called Crappie Candy, here is the link and a few I tied.

Well I tried to find the link, but can't right now. When I did a search it didn't find it. So here is my pic.

First drop with a fly, 9" crappie. Caught some more during the day also.
Fish bit slow and needed some tantalizing.
    Overall, happy with the flies.

Thanks Skip. I have tied a few like that and have them in reserve.
