Do you mean by brush tapping?

Yes, brush tapping. On a 1/16 head I typically put 3-4 colors on a head, 2-3 colors are applied by brush tapping. I focus most of the paint on the nose of the jig because when I hang my jigs on my racks with the heads up in oven as the heads heat up gravity starts the paint movement and swirling effect. Excess paint runs down the hook shank. I painted some yesterday where the paint ran all the way to the hook bend creating a ball when paint hardened, great for holding soft plastics.

I like em. My number one jig is a. Gray ghost and those heads would be the hot ticket. Nice work.

I’m not a purist either. Variations and additions keep ‘em interesting. Everything from plain Jane bland with no flash to some really flashy ones with a touch of another color. They’ve all worked at one time or another. Have fun with it, I feel like I’ve planted a seed.

I used a white base first to keep the chrome from bleeding threw. Then tapped the black over top
