Tie jigs for trout, and target mostly wild native trout. Looking forward to this fall and will be tying up more jigs soon.

Beautiful fish.
Are the trout jigs a lot different from crappie jigs?
No but it's a wild trout so I was pleased with it. Should have just posted wild trout.
Here's a native wild trout on a jig:

Catching a trout is on my bucket list when I retire. Very nice picture.
It depends. Trout will most certainly hit crappie jigs, sometimes I fish crappie tubes in snaggy areas since they are low in cost.
Trout jigs can vary widely, the skys the limit. I prefer a bulkier jig with collars for trout from 1/32oz up to 1/4oz.
