Default So Two Weeks After Surgery (Graphic pic?)

Well I am starting to use the hand a tiny bit, but it needs more time as any bump or even using my thumb is out of the question at this point. At least the hard splint if off!

Some may not enjoy seeing this, but it's kind of amazing what they can do now. They removed the little bone and Arthritis with it, then took the tendon from up my arm a little and used it to take the place of the bad bone and junk.

I'm anxious to see how well this turns out. I'm bone-to-bone on both thumbs and that's one of the options a doctor gave me. How long of a recovery did they tell you?
    Wishing you the best.

My wife has had both her thumbs done in the past two years. It really helped her tremendously and we are glad she had it done. Prayers for your recovery.
