You did a fine job!
Well done. My first jigs were so bad, I cut all the materials off the hooks and didn't try again for several months. My wife wishes I had stopped all together, but I started again and I now have boxes, cabinets and drawers full of material. It's a great hobby and with practice, you just get better and better. Let us know when you reach the point of buying materials without her knowing, then you'll really be one of us.
I wish I could tell ya they get used to feathers floating around the house, but they don't. Now if you feed um some fish regularly, they might tolerate um... maybe! Welcome to the addiction... And there ain't nothing wrong with that jig!

looks good
Thanks guys, your words of encouragement are appreciated. The wife told me that I had to get my own table and leave her alone. I suppose I better mind mama this time.

In all honesty there is nothing wrong with that jig. The tail is a tad too long but that is just a personal preference and there is know set rule. A crappie will hit that jig for sure. Welcome to jig tying.
