I am also experimenting using a latex rubber band body as the "Nymph" skin. Might also incorporate a smidgen of sponge in the head area to hold the slab sauce. We will see how that goes later. If it works I will post a photo.

Yeah got to have the slabsauce on there i put that stuff on everything .

Slabsauce lasts for a long time to .i stoped using the spray bottles because i sprayed it in my beard one day .i smelled slabsauce all day long lol! I try not to do that anymore.

Nice ties!! If you don't want to spend a lot for thin skin you can cut strips out of balloons and have lots of different colors.

Fatman, I found white sand color balloons and red octopus hooks at Amazon. The fish better be warned. This material will be here in one day and old ship will be creating his Wax Worm with thin copper wire for the flash and ribbing. Thanks again for a great money saving idea and getting the latex rubber skin in the color I wanted.

That sponge to hold Slabsauce should be a hit as well. I think you are on to something when they bite the fly a burst of Slabsauce goodness will certainly make them think it is a real insect
