    Default fly beads

Iv been tying jigs for many years, and thought Id take a stab at Flys for bluegill. My question is Im going to focus on 12 and 14 hooks. What size bead heads should I get to weight a hook of this size?

    The charts say to use
3/32 or 2.3mm beads for those sizes.

Be careful with the chart. Different hooks, barb size, round bend or sickle, will sure mess the chart up. And when using jighooks they recommend slotted beads.
