Fishing is more fun than tying! I got that message at the bottom of my receipt for new tying materials. But, I got another beautiful barred grizzly cape and that makes me smile too.

Fishing is certainly very enjoyable. Although one can tie when it is not suitable to fish
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

I don't know, I'm too keen on fishing in 45 mph winds which we have today... So I will prolly fill another space or two in my jig box.

I like the looks grizzly capes and have a ton of them but I just cant get into using feathers. I have a ton. Sold a lot of the old Hoffman, Miner, Whiting, and Metz. I prefer hair to work with. Going to thin down. Amazing how many things you can tie with.

Lol… I prefer hackle. That’s the beauty of tying jigs everyone can customize and use whatever materials they prefer.

The one on the left is a magnum. Hard to come by. Middle one barred ginger, the one on right is another barred grizzly but has smaller feathers. Should work great for my wiggler flies.
