Default Would Like YouTube Tying Video Recommendations

Who do you go to on YouTube for jig tying videos? And do you go to them for tying techniques or to learn new patterns? I would like to watch some of both. If there are guys who post here who are also on YouTube, I would like that information also. I have had some success with my “Ugly Green” jig pattern and that has gotten me going. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Thanks SuperDave! Stumphunter has some great looking videos. I will check those out. I like both technique and pattern videos, with good, clear audio, and a materials list.. . There is a lot to take from different videos when you are searching for your own tying style.

Don't know how to put the video on as others do but here are three,
Any by Skip Morris and Chris Mihulka. Both are very good and have great content. and the third I just started watching his video is Brian Wise of flyfishing the Ozarks. Just search on YouTube by their name and you'll find them.

It is certainly easy to fall down the rabbit hole of tying videos. I remember watching videos of watching sculpted deer hair flys.

I usually check these three people out: SK, Roman Avila, Eric Massey and Big Red.

Here are a few samples of my personal favorite teachers for beginners That is important to me. They teach as well as explain in detail what they are doing and why they are doing it.

My friend , to put a video on your post just take three steps.

    1) When you are on You Tube just drag and copy the URL location that appears in the google search bar

    2) On the crappie.com page where you are posting look for the filmstrip symbol to the right of the symbol that you use to post pictures in your post. Click on it.

    3) Paste your video clip URL in the open box and then click "OK"

    4) Finish typing your post and submit by posting on "Post Quick Reply" button

    Hope this helps/
