Yep...One we are looking at has an unfinished basement, while another has a loft. Either way, I wont be running between the house and shed to tie. With the weather so cold, she has allowed me to have my vise and a little bit of tieing materials in the house. Just don't go showing her no buggy looking jigs...lol. Or tell her what animal the hair came from...hehehehe! She don't think it's funny at all!!!

you can go around and get you some road kill for tails and fur for tying. been thinking of doing it myself just for something to do and have a nice bench to do it on. have junglejimjigs show me the ropes.

BUT knowing me I won't! LOL

good luck in finding a place. this market is insane for houses.

Yep, the lil woman really lets me come in doors to tie this time of year and actually leave stuff out over night and sometimes two nights. Woohoo! I know it's temporary and I have to vac the floor nightly as she says I make such a mess for so little activity. Happy wife, happy life rings so true. I grew up in a mobile home and know what comes out during the day gets put away before bed. It serves me well in my old age.

Some State frown upon the taking of fur and such from the road way / right of way. It is good to know the rules and regs on such for your area. They being said it is hard to leave a fresh squirrel tail to get mashed into the pavement when It could be home with the bone removed and cured in salt. Someone here had warned me of the possibility of trouble. So just passing along

Not sure when it's going to happen, but we are going to move. Been looking up around Clinton, Mo. I like the area. Specially because there are several strip pits in that area. It's just north of Truman Lake and about an hour closer to Bucksaw marina/ campgrounds where Missouri has been holding their Spring get togethers.

Hope it all comes together, JD. Sounds like you have a nice area scouted out.
