Locktite in the bottle with the squeeze button sides. It is a gel and cheaper than the others at $2.50. The squeeze feature allows for a small drop to be applied.

I make jigs that have the wire insert thingie to hold the plastics but much prefer the glue. I make the jigs ahead of time vs. carrying heads and bodies and assembling on the water. See no advantage to assembling when needed.

Hard is the life of any jig sent under a dock by the whip of a rod. All manner of things down there to rip, snag, and tear. Many a surprise as well. One of the biggest catches a deck chair that had become a reef. On clear water areas you can make out the shapes of patio tables under and around some docks I have fished. If It was on the dock and not secured it likely has found it's way into the water during bad weather

We even have a few docks up here where the owner has wrapped it in 6 x 6 mesh wire to discourage us from fishing there. They then remove deck board here a there and fish the center. Bet that's productive.

Had a dock like that on lake Guntersville. I was fishing the dock next to it. The owner of the dock covered in cattle panels remarked that people like me was the reason he had to fence his dock in. Out of meanness I shot jigs through the holes in the cattle panels while he was telling me he owned the water around his dock for so many feet. When I was back through that way he had put chicken wire over the cattle panels. Best one i have seen lately is plastic coated wire shelving. Used to under pin a dock

Visited Gamma’s website. Free shipping this month. I’ll be trying their line soon enough. Thanks.

I sure like depth and mapping at the console.
It sure helps during extreme draw down during with winter when the water gets skinny. For the way I fish It is nice to sit at the helm idle by a dock and see what the water is like. I need to upgrade my electronics. I had downsized boats. I miss a larger boat so now thinking an aluminum center console around 20' then I will upgrade electronics.
