    I would do both for a few ties to test. Shorter and less. Stop chenille a couple wraps sooner.

    In all honestly there is nothing wrong with that jig at all. I might try some different colors but the that jig is pretty close to perfect in my opinion.

    I’d try using scent like crappie nibbles and maybe some slab sauce,,,they really seem more attracted when biting I’ve found… 9 out of 10 times more likely to bite an artificial with smell then non scented

    The jig looks nice and well tied. I am still new, but imagine the issue here is presentation. Some very popular and classic jigs do not work for me at all. My style precludes them from presenting themselves effectively. It is all very subtle I assure you.
    Maybe they will bite this one……

    Jig looks fine, now the main part of this is you need to have or develop confidence in it!
