Starting Lineup for next trip out

Not much that is more enjoyable than fishing

I set out and was trolling along when the Sun finally tried to peek out at me. The bites at this lake was slow also. I wondered if it was slow for just me, so I watched others and they looked very bored. I wondered if my blades were working to chase fish away, and went to no blades and did right at about the same mostly.

That little jig you guys mentioned did very well both days and will be in my line up going forward. The fish just seem to like it and I imagine it isn’t the tail as much as the overall profile. Compact. It swims exceptionally well with that large 1/4 oz head. Straight and the tail paddles back and forth rapidly similarly to a real minnow. Gonna make more of them.



Later the wind tried to pickup but never really did. High wispy clouds showed me that the air up there was very cold. Old Man Winter is about to show up again I am afraid. Good thing I am down here huh ?



And the Moon of course was watching me.

They got cleaned and packaged. I am getting much faster at it. Developed a system of sorts I guess.



Well after cleaning fish and getting everything put away tthe bride made an appearance. I ended up driving her to the take out Chinese place and then back to our deck where we had our wedding reception.



Shrimp Lo Mein, Hunan Chicken, Shrimp rolls, tofu Lo Mein, and curry chicken. We ate and laughed and then did her second favorite thing in the whole wide world. Yes we watched horror movies on the TV. An old Vincent Price, and some modern ones, and one really odd one that she refused to switch away from.

I better let this thread die, so next up will be my newest jigs. Bat Jigs with blades and not.
