If you don't really care about the UV part you can always make your own flexible glue for that. Lot less cost.

I bought some thick, thin and flexible. So far I like the thin the best. The thick is too bulky for me. But I have been putting a drop on the thread and then another drop after I wrap a few times on top to really get a good lock down on the hair. So the thinner the better for me.

Yes I’m interested in that too. Actually have a couple old rain suits that could use some flexible glue on as well.
Okay guys, but understand you have to deal with some nasty stuff! You don't want this stuff even on your skin. I use Oral Syringe to deal with adding a little to something I need to thin, I use these syringes a lot for my Vinyl Paint thinning.
If you really want to deal with it you just take Goop or Shoe Goo and then the nasty stuff, Toluene and you mix enough Toluene with the Goop in a glass jar, you may need let it sit for over night or what ever to complete the mix. Also the people at Softex say there is no thinner for it, but if it gets too thick a little Toluene will work, but usually I have a new thinner jar and just use it for thinning a thick one if needed. I also heat least two jars open, one thick and one thin, but if it’s your first jar then use it until it thickens before getting another jar for thinning and using on some things.
If you decide to do this just be careful!

Agreed Toluene is some pretty nasty stuff

I'll stick to Solarez. It goes a long way and I like the UV aspect....is real quick. I found some on Ebay for $20 for the 2oz tubes. Bought 6 bottles for the price of 2 or 3. Should last awhile. UV is the way to go...its almost instant and you can keep going. No waiting to see if its going to hold the hair. I like to pull on it to be satisficed that its got coming out.
