Thank you guys! Jamesdean I have always wanted and hoped that some would look at my post as helpful in some way for them. Maybe as you said to inspire others in some good way to help them even if it's just a color combo they have not tried or some material they have not looked at. Maybe even get others so think and ask questions to learn more.

I have a confession to make Weave Tying I have saved many of the pictures you have posted on here to my phone for ideas and future reference. I don't post much because I'm still learning on the crappie jigs. I started out tying trout flies and have just started to really get into the crappie jigs and as much as it's the same it's also way different. Thanks to all of you that post ideas, pictures, and info on here for the ones like me that don't really know what questions to ask Weave Tying

I will say this much, when I first started, I had never tied anything on a hook but the end of my line. I paid attention to what others were posting, and thanks to the internet I watched a whole lot of you tube videos. I only had sewing thread for a long time. It works. I am just now, a couple years later buying actual tying thread. If your already tying fly's, your miles ahead of where most of us started at. It don't matter, if their is something you don't understand, or don't understand what your seeing, just say something and we will try to help...

I have tons and tons of jig pictures saved and view them often for inspiration and admiration. Skips jigs are some of the best.

Yep I agree. I need to go through my phone and at least put photos in folders. Of coarse the biggest one would be of jig pictures. I have been known to go into our local fly shop looking for a certain material, and have to show a photo or video of the material I'm wanting...lol. Even then sometimes we end up guessing what it is...
