    I have a few corks and chopsticks saved and they should be getting nervous because I will be giving these a shot. BB shot of course. lol
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

    Why thank you sir, I appreciate the compliment from the master...lol. In a sense yes I used a drill, but not a hand held one. I used a bench top drill press.

    Why weight them,,,? For casting?

    It's two fold. Yes the additional weight, though minimal, does help with casting, but the weights counter balance the weight of the jig, and allow the float to lay flat on the water. And if a fish touches it or breathes on it, bang it will stand up...
