I do that work all the time with a ball head jig but don't pour free style stuff so I'm not sure. I really don't see why it would matter though. Maybe a little leakage around the hook shaft due to hook being smaller, but that is super minimal.
Is there a #2 sickle hook that can be used to pour 1/16 and 1/8 jigs from the FST-6-SA Freestyle Jig mold?

Was looking for a reason to get out in garage and pour a few. I’ll fire up the lead pot Sunday and pour some size 2 sickle in the 1/16 and 1/8 oz freestyle. Confident there won’t be a problem.

1/16 and 1/8 oz matzuo #2 no problem so any #2 sickle or Aberdeen style will work.
Nice hooks and lead came out awesome,,,,with! Definite success...
