    Default Tubing for slip bobbers?


    Looking for the type of stiff hard plastic tubing to make bobbers from wine corks,something like 1/8 od with a hole in middle,any ideas?

    I use a plastic coffee stirrer when making slip corks out of Styrofoam floats. It's a tight fit so run a finish nail thru the straw and then run the straw thru the Styrofoam float. It works great.

    Maybe too large, but I used oxygen at night and have a lot of Green tubing for that. Would have to put a ruler next to it to see, but think a little larger than 1/8", but maybe a little less than 1/4". I am not sure, but if you think it would work I will check.

    There is some strong tubing used for spinner spacers that may meet your needs.

    I found the coffee stirrers at a Wal mart store they should work good thanks all.

    On the stirer straws, make sure the tube is no longer than the cork. I use them and have found that the line will spit it and then hang up when it should slide through. But trimming it down to the cork solved this problem...

    LOL, I got all mine at McDonald's. Everyt ime I grabbed a coffee when I was working I'd get a straw even though I drank it black.
