Thanks. Looks tiny, do you remember the size? Might see if I can find something similar.
Have been trying to save some old pics from photo bucket that, apparently, you can’t just save without a phone screen shot anymore, and came across a jig that brings back good memories.
Tied it with no aspirations. Didn’t even like it. Ended up being one of the most productive jigs I’ve ever fished. It was one of a kind bc the head was sent as an extra as some of the same in a larger size.
Many full ice chests bf nothing was left of it.
Thought I’d share for the fishermen that tie jigs on the side.

Good looking tie.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Cool looking jig, bucktail maybe? I’ve tied some that became winners from what was laying on the bench. That’s another plus about pouring your own. Some goofy idea goes through your head and you grab a head and make it happen, with whatever. Lots of mine got to talk with a razor blade, but some did real well. Never know til you try. Mixing materials, like a little bucktail with some V’s around it was one I played with some.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
That’s a cool jig, it just has the look!
I to am curious what size it was.

Definitely looks like something will catch fish.

Thx guys. That’s 1/32 w/4 hook. Marabou blood quill strands. Bout smallest I ever go. Good for cypress knees.
Tying for our short winter gives a lil insight. Water is up near above flood level and muddy. Fish are moving from brush to tops. Gotta feel more.
This is 1/8 on 1/0 hook....
always keep the bait size in the 2-2”1/2 range. I like rabbit this time of year. May not be right, but works every time for me.

S10CHEVY LIKED above post
I grew up around the bayous and Cypress knees so know how that is. I grew up in Orange Texas and did a lot of fishing and duck hunting as a kid way back in the 1950's in South Louisiana. Was really something special back then. We would stay at this tiny motel at Holly Beach!
I like Rabbit most any time, but usually don't fish the winters as I have become old and cold sensitive, lol! To me Rabbis is the hair equivalent to marabou!

That's too fine for bucktail! My bet is on calf body hair mostly straight but you can get a few kinked ones.
