    Definitely need some more practice before I'm happy with these little jigs but the bluegill and green sunfish didn't seem to mind!

    Glad to see you got some fish on your hand ties. Nothing beats the feeling of catching the first fish on your own creation. Congrats. Keep at it and you will find confidence in your ties as well as the more you tie the better they become. Watching you tube videos of fly tyers helps a lpt. Same technique and materials just we use weighted hooks. Congrats on the fish.

    I use partridge and hen neck hackle for my collars on my wet bluegill flies and jig flies. Your jigs are very nice ties.
