Boy, those have one large collar dont they. Carpel tunnel to tie many of those. Look neat though.
I have talked about these jigs for a long time here and just wanted to show everyone what they looked like. Thankfully I still ahem good many of these and hope to try them again next spring for the first time in probably 15 years? Anyway these little short jigs sure were good on crappie for me back then and yes I was long lining them. The small heads are 1/32 and the larger ones are 1/16 and the Sickle hook head just showing the difference in the Blue Fox jigs and the ones we use all the time and it too is a 1/16 Oz head.
I am not sure when they actually stopped making them, but at some point I looked again and they were making some ratline head jigs which I now wish I had bought some of them too, but didn't. That was when I found out they stopped making these jigs and now of course they don't even exist. Think Rapala bought the name I guess and sell the Viberax Lures. All have a blade and inline type except a Super Boy Spinnerbait which does look awesome, but very large.
Also before anyone ask, no I do not know what the material is used in these skirts or I would have some, lol!

Nice, they look great!
I agree guys, they are really good jigs and I still have a hard time figuring why they quit making them so long ago. I think maybe some bad decisions like stop making these when they started making the rattle head jigs, why not sell both? The Nickel Plated heads also hold up well.
The fact that they are really small didn't keep them from catching crappie! Probably has a lot to do with the hatch size of baitfish in spring too.
