Ok I quickly tied some line on and put in fish tank. It’s awesome, the tail floats up good. I actually think I’m going to tie more of these!! And the line glows under the aquarium lights.

Where did you get those beads?
Also, if you hook that guppy, your kids are gonna be mad.

I ordered them on eBay from China. Like $5 free shipping I think. That’s the cheap family feeder goldfish. Last fish left, I’m thinking a crappie in there instead....

Funny that you posted that picture because right after I asked the question, I remembered that I ordered that same little box of beads about 6 months ago so I would have plenty of slip cork beads. Now I just gotta remember what I did with it. LOL

[/QUOTE If a gold fish is interested lol . Imagine what a crappie will do. Nice looking jigs

I had a thought earlier....
I think 20-30 lb yellow braid would work great for that tail, with the beads tied on the end. The braid would float up, anytime the jig was paused during the retrieve. I don't have any of the stuff to tie that jig with, except the braid. LOL

Yeah the beads float up. If I had only doubled the mono instead of the amount I used it would maybe have a little more action and movement with each tail. It still looks really good in the water though.
