Ship, that's very neat and clean and makes perfectly good sense to me. I'm sure I'm a bit OCD when it comes to being organized and (hopefully) staying organized. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you my friend. It is now so much easier to fine the soft plastic or jig that I need along with my basic rigging stuff. Saves tackle box space storage also. Be sure and pinch the barbs down before inserting them in the material.

Ship I also use a piece of noodle on my fishing bag. It has an attachment that I added a short piece of it on and when I change jigs, I always put the one taking off on that noodle. It keeps the water out of my jig box and lets it dry on that noodle. Some I just leave on so I can change back when I choose. Also my son had trouble dropping rods in the water a few years back and he bought some of the foam things made to float a rod if dropped in. The bought ones stay on the rod fishing or not and he did well with them, but if my memory serves me right they were not as large of a diameter as the noodles?

The bag has this spool thing it fits over to make it convenient.
    Took a pic to show.

Oh and some of these jigs have been in there over a year, lol!

I also use a piece of pool noodle on my tackle bag strap to air out jigs. Usually the ride home in the back of the truck has them bone dry and ready to return to their boxes when I get home. I like that storage idea. Looks like an excellent winter project(at least until the ice is thick enough to fish on) Do you guys notice any difference with holding fish when you mash the Barb's down as opposed to not?

Hey I just used some plastic boxes that are made for picture storage, just added foam to the bottom with hot glue. Here is a link to my old post...

Another great idea. Thanks for sharing it. It does not take long for this old dog to learn a new trick. LOL I attached the drying noodle to the handle with rawhide shoelaces. My "Drying area" is now on my tackle box.

IMHO pinching the Barb down did not effect my catch rate. I catch just as many. It does make it easier to get the crappie off the hook when you get them in your hand and it is easier to get your jig out of snagged wood or brush piles.
