    Default Baitfish Jig


    Tried to create a minnow looking jig.

    1/16th Unpainted Jig
    White Craft Fur
    Olive Craft Fur
    3/16th stick on eyes

    Only thing that would make them look better is to see them hanging out of a fish's mouth. lol
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

    Thanks skip.It was a fly i seen tied on a youtube video.Crappie love minnows so i thought why not tie one on a jig.

    I get one wholesaler that send me emails selling flies be the multi dozen and there are a lot of patterns like this in many colors. They all look really nice, but I don't sell flies like that, but have saved a few of the emails for ideas later. Shame you can see some of these as I can't grab the photos out of that I don't think.

    As many out of the box things that you tie, it reminds me of myself back when I first got started. I would jump on anything and even did some wasp, lol! It did take me a few years to really get off the jig thing far enough to do my wasp, but I believe this picture from 2008 was the first time I put antenna on the wasp, lol! I did tie some before this, just didn't have that antenna!

    Looks Good

    Gave this tie a go myself, never tried it yet, should give good results
    after a few ties had to use glove or finger protectors on that UV cement
    a bit on the sticky side
