    We used to use a purple head,black body, bright yellow tail jig on Enid and it was killer .

    I do love a Purple tail on a jig for sure. Have had a lot of success with this.

    Purple is also very close in my mine to Violet and Violet was the 2nd best visibility in water, Blue was number 1. So I figure Purple has to be one of the colors that can be seen farther than most in water!
