    I tied a jig a few years ago using one of the little tails like that I took off a ball. I have several colors of the balls and yes I think that is a good one and I like his way better than mine, but I didn't spend much time on it.

    I looked and can't find a pic of mine right now, but will keep looking when I can. I do think it's a great idea to use that for a tail and they wiggle very good!

    I made some also and while mine were also crude, they did put fish in the boat. Kinda neat finding out of the ordinary materials to make jigs that work, and those do work.

    I looked for those balls last year but couldn't find any. Did find some today at Walmart but I felt the little tails were not long enough. It was a good size ball. Any suggestions where I could find one? Do you think the little trout worms would work? Pop
