I've been trying to get a good one to try and replicate. There was a guy on LA Forum (http://www.crappie.com/crappie/jig-t...ss-shrimp-fly/) that tied a pretty good looking one and a few others (http://www.crappie.com/crappie/jig-t...-grass-shrimp/).
I've tried to tie a few but not too successful. It appears that they are all using a clear approach with brown or gray for internal organs.

They are all beautiful! A grass shrimp will catch anything. Trick is finding something that'll suit the tyers needs.
I've had a lot of luck using the spaghetti bracelet material on a regular jig head w/ like colored materials, sparsely.
I like to think clear, grey, n Pearl wherever I can put it.
Can just set that pole down it'll do the work

I agree. I've thought of gold and silver to match the gray legs and the gold for the brown body.
Adam you right, down here in the south the grass shrimp is King.
Look you could take some Pearl or similar color in several different products and I also know Cascade Crest has several ones I like a lot, Poly Glimmer and Poly Flash and both are the Poly Braid type materials. You could then also add one small piece of Pearl Crystal on the bottom for it's legs.
Oh they also make some Tungsten shrimp bodies that are pretty cool, but they don't look clear, lol! I believe I have some that I tied, maybe I can find to show you them.
