    Default Honest opinions welcome!

I am new to tying and this is my first post on crappie.com but I am no stranger to the forums! Crappie.com is responsible for getting me started tying and helping me become better at my passion of crappie fishing! I am retired US Army veteran do to injuries received during second tour in Iraq, and yes I STAND and SALUTE my flag whenever the anthem of this great nation is played! Many of you have mentored me for a few years and never knew it Thank you to all the active crappie.com members!

Please give me your honest opinion, I can take negative and positive comments, to make me better!

Jigs looks pretty darn good especially for a new guy!

Now let me through you a few ideas......First I usually stop my chenille at or about the hook point and or barb, but I don't go farther back, but they do that in fly tying for sure! I do take my thread base all the way to the bend, but I stop my chenille around the point/barb area.

Really all that matters is if the fish approve or not, lol!

Thanks guys! I just did my job and I was absolutely aware of what I was getting into when I joined and became and infantryman! I loved it and would still be in today if they would let me back in. Lol.

Don't thank me, all I ask is respect that BEAUTIFUL FLAG and the USA. Many people gave their life willingly and will deal with injuries the rest of their life for that flag! I respect freedom and fought hard alongside amazing men/brothers so everyone has those freedoms, including the freedom to not stand or whatever you want to during our anthem. Just remember when you are making your stand against whoever or whatever in this way, you are also insulting many men and women you will never know whom have had your back and been to hell to spit in the devils face for you and every other CITIZEN of this great country!

Sorry for the rant this is about jig tying and crappie fishing!

    Falcon45 thanks friend!

Skip, tell your son a fellow brother is sending him a handshake, nod, and major respect! If he or you ever need help with VA or anything else let me know I will help anyway I can if I can!
